Very good venue with little difference in viewing experience in the highest Vs lowest seats. It is kept at a warmer temperature to improve the cycling so remember to bring a small (500ml) bottle of water. There are food and drink stalls and ample toilets. The only let downs as a venue are the basic toilets and seating and lack of dedicated parking (we did metro park and ride)

Great place to go. Parking was easy and only 5 minutes walk from the venue. The venue itself is clean and bright. The cycling was great to watch and makes you realise how fit the riders must be. The place had a nice friendly atmosphere and is ideal for families. I'd definitely go again.

Took the taster session and it was a very easy relaxed and informal introduction to the world of velodrome riding. The bikes were good quality well maintained and all looked to be pretty new. Other equipment was readily available to hire (helmets and shoes etc.) If you didn't have your own. Fun and interesting. Will worth a try as a different experience, I'll be going back again.

More people should visit. They have national competitions on you can see the cyclist training for the 2020 Olympics close up. The kids would love it. Lots of the time it's free entry. So on a cold day and the kids want to get out go and visit.
