Really friendly and helpful staff. Food good quality for the reasonable price. Fish was cooked fresh to order. 10 years since I was last here and the restaurant has long gone and so have the minted mushy peas (thank goodness).

My mother and I visited Nash's Restaurant in Leeds city centre for lunch. I cannot praise the food highly enough. I had the fish pie with a seasonal salad and my mother had gluten free fish and chips. The fish pie was delicious, absolutely full of salmon and prawns with beautiful cheesy mash on top. It was very filling and I wasn't able to manage any dessert! My mother said the gluten free fish tasted so good she thought it was ordinary batter. I'm sure that next time we meet in Leeds we will head for Nash's.

Get rid of the polystyrene tray and plastic fork. There are better alternatives out there. Chips ok.

Get rid of the polystyrene tray and plastic fork. There are better alternatives out there. Chips ok. Maybe Under new management as they were not as good as they once were.

What a gem! Serving traditional fish and chips to eat in or take away at the bargain price of £5.50! You can eat in clean comfortable environment with good service and fresh food placed at your table for less than most takeaways . The chips were awesome, the fish and batter sublime. I have to comment on the service too, Hazhir Rasoul was excellent, polite and courteous. Highly recommend this place.

I went with 2 friends to Nash's famous fish and chips restaurant just off New Briggate. We all thought the lightly battered fish and the proper potato chips and mushy peas were excellent. Not at all greasy, just delicious. The service by a gentleman was friendly. We'll be back.
