I have had my hair done at Muir and Kerr for nearly 20 years and cannot rate them more highly. Not only do I leave looking and feeling a million dollars, but also feeling in a great mood for the chat and good sharing of humour. Thanks so much Eddie.

After 20 plus years of going to this salon I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. The staff are friendly, professional and very talented, I always leave feeling and looking a million times better than when I arrive. The salon is very welcoming and incredibly covid secure, masks worn at all times, fastidious cleaning, and plenty of natural ventilation. I was very happy to take up the offer of sitting out in their peaceful, spacious back garden drinking tea whilst waiting for my colour to develop. Thank you all, what a treat.

I had a Balyage and cut done here. I was very pleased, however the colour was not as noticeable as I had hoped once I got home. The salon staff were very helpful and were happy for me to come back in and have the colour slightly enhanced free of charge. The salon was very professional and my stylist very good - excellent customer service!

I had my 1 year olds fringe cut by a senior stylist, I had hoped that having the experience and being a senior stylist the cut would be nice. However, the hairdresser chopped my child's fringe off an inch above her eyebrows and it was a very large chunk of hair that she cut as a fringe. Also to top it off it cost £5, I don't mind paying more for just a fringe but I would expect it to at least look half decent. I may not have any qualifications of styling or cutting hair but I can guarantee that I could've cut my daughter's fringe 100x better. I won't be trusting another hairdresser to cut my child's hair again. I am giving a 1 star as the manager said he would give us a free cut when my child's hair grows longer. However, I don't think I could trust anyone with my daughter's hair again.
