M&S Bristol Royal Infirmary bristol

Didn't have much stock on the weekend (I was told the fridge was broken) but one of the checkout people were really nice and willing to check out back for anything that wasn't on the shelf but they didn't have anything because of the fridge breakage!. It was a pain because I was getting food for my mother who was a current resident at the hospital and the checkout person was very helpful, also very polite to the customer before me who was extremely rude. I didn't get his name (had long hair and a lip stud) but wanted to thank him more than I already did. Very friendly and helpful staff and would recommend it over the one down the road! I was told I just had bad luck visiting on that summery weekend. Angie

A small outlet which offers some the M&S range of ready meals and sandwiches. Conveniently just inside the hospital entrance it is widely used by staff and patients alike.

Don't trust the opening hours listed online! Recently I checked online that it was open but when I got there I found the store to be closed with a sign saying it was closing an hour early every day for the next couple of weeks. There was no mention of the changed opening hours online. There is also another branch with lower prices nearby in Broadmead. Beware!

It boils my blood that such a huge organisation can setup a shop inside a hospital and charge such inflated prices. I understand economics, but when you're rushed by ambulance to a hospital over 100 miles from home and are living on a ward with your 8 week old child and need some food or drinks, quickly and conveniently, you're held to ransom! Where is the compassion from the company?

Ideal when you have to a live in hospital when your child is sick. Can eat healthy and top up when needed. Excellent GF range too. Open to public not just those in hospital.

Good set up. Accomdated the pandemic well. Quite expensive but always good quality and service

I mean....the reason I was there was pants.....I was across the road at the children's hospital for my daughter but the service was good and friendly and lots of decent food :)
