M&S Brighton Carden Avenue Simply Food brighton

Cafe really cold. I would have thought a suspended ceiling across the cafe area would improve things. Still it ensures any frozen goods won't thaw. I've just looked at some other reviews and this has been mentioned a few times. Don't expect any changes though as these reviews are never read.... or are they?

I didn't use the mens toilet on my visit today because the toilet pan last week was disgusting. It was the same the previous week. I should have reported it. Apart from that the cappuccino was excellent as was the products that we purchased. I regret not coplaining about the deeply stained pans on previous visits.

Some stuff is really expensive, be ready to fall over. There is a budget range. And they are good quality. They have 80 teabags for £1.20, very nice, strong, probably better than PG. Goods are high quality and custom made for m&s. There are some really unique products you won't find elsewhere. Look else for the loss leader fruit for 65p near entrance. However it's not my weekly shop, I will still pick aldi, as their stuff is very good as well, but a different experience. Seriosuly, pound for a trolley...not customer friendly. Can't give 5 if I compare to other supermarkets. Its a solid 4 though.

Great place everything for vegans and vegetarian food

It might not look much from outside, but actually this is a really nice M&S Food store. A lovely chilled atmosphere inside with a lot of choice. There’s also a cafe if you fancy a coffee during your shop.

An employee called CLIFF has been working here for quite a few years, you will usually find him on the self scanning area. He has to be one of the most delightful team members that works at M&S Hollingbury. He always remembers me, even though I pop in every few months, he engages with customers and delivers service form the heart, which is not always seen nowadays. Cliff you're such a an asset to M&S, don't let him go! Simon

I don't shop at M&S, but I popped into this specific store because I was close by. The store had a very calm atmosphere, there was plenty of products in stock and staff members were very polite and helpful. I haven't experienced such a pleasant shopping experience in my life. Well done M&S!!

We really like visiting the cafe at M & S. There's a good selection, and always made to an excellent standard! The drinks are great, too, and all at competitive prices. Really glad to have the cafe back, so we can enjoy being treated!! ☺️

Bought an item at the weekend that was out of date (didn’t realise until we got home and opened it), so we returned to the store to return the item. The manager at this M&S delivered the best customer service I think I have ever received. He was incredibly apologetic, refunded our entire shopping and could not have done more to help us. There’s something to be said about shopping in M&S.
