Tiny and grotty. Room stank of wet ashtrays. Cheap but not worth the saving. Go somewhere nicer.

A lovely warm welcome on arrival even though we were and hour earlier than the check in time, Lin let us leave our bags so we didn't have to carry them around. Our room was lovely and spacious, bed was comfy. Lovely little touches instructions on how to use the shower and clock. Breakfast was hot and cooked fresh and very tasty. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the noise that could be heard through the windows as they were not double glazed but I am a light sleeper too so that probably didn't help.

This is a nice enough little B&B but there are a few things to know before you start there. I'll start with the positives: the staff are friendly (it seems like a family ran business), the breakfast is good, the place is kept as clean as you'd expect a B&B to be, the location was very convenient, the rooms were decorated nicely enough, and access was 24hrs which is great if you're enjoying the nightlife. The negatives: smallish rooms, very small bathrooms, tiny showers (with intermittent water pressure), thin walls and windows, the building is quite old so all the creaks you'd expect, and finally my closet in my bedroom appeared to be full of damp and was lined with a not participating pleasant piece of stained cloth so I never bothered putting my clothes in. I'd emphasise that the service was great and I stayed here for a whole week and found it fine with the breakfasts being a highlight.

Nice B&B if a little pricey. Clean reasonable sized room and hotel conveniently situated walking distance to most things and main bus stops not far either. Good breakfast choices. Only reservation was that reception was unmanned at night. Seemed safe enough though. Emergencies you were on your own.

Was so looking to staying here after reading the glowing reviews on line ??! Were we disappointed!! staff were friendly enough but didn’t seem to know the basics like where their car park was which resulted in us being directed to the wrong caroark and in the end having to pay a fine. The shower was terrible..basically just a dripping faucet with zero pressure and the shower space and bathroom were so cramped. I thought the breakfast then would be amazing but it was below average. Seriously don’t bother.
