Moss Bros. cambridge

Ordered 10 hire suits for my wedding, on collection, 6 of these were wrong. The wrong shirt and tie had been ordered for me (the groom), wrong size waistcoats were given, wrong size trousers and jackets and completely the wrong junior size. Meant we had to make extra trips to Cambridge to correct these 2 days before our wedding. No apologies were given, or any attempt to help us fix this, we were just told that ‘people change size’ (which they hadn’t) and had to come back and collect new sizes a day later. The junior size actually was never correct in the end. Caused a lot of extra unnecessary stress. Would not recommend!

A very nice experience when first walking into the building! staff seem very happy and kind, greeting me on the way in I was met by a very nice woman at the front of the counter. where she proceeded to answer a lot of my questions about custom tailored/ bespoke suits. she took me very seriously which I respect a lot. (because of my age a lot of people are fast to assume you are wasting their time, or do not have the money which leads to them not taking you very seriously). She didn't seem too acknowledge this( in a good way). she walked me through the different kind of price range / quality suits. I could purchase for my budget and even recommended me visiting another one of their branches, where they do bespoke Ted Baker suits. Which I have to say was very helpful because I did not know they even had such a "feature" later learning at the shop I was in was one of the smaller branches (Didn't end up purchasing a suit but definitely plan to in the future). Altogether would recommend visiting Moss Bros

On Tuesday explained that I had a wedding to go to the following weekend and needed a suit to buy with inheritance from a close relative for this purpose which was also explained. I was fitted up in a colour of my choice and told my size would be ready for collection the following Thursday. I received a call at around 1130am that Thursday to tell me they did not have my suit in my colour but to come in to try one in a different colour. When I turned up they did even have my size in a different colour, another mistake. As far as their attitude was concerned it was basicallt an apathetic apology blaming bad information and a shrug of the shoulders. Acting manager and assistant should get some training in customer service. They don't GAS. WORST service I've seen in a long time and no remorse for leaving me with a wedding to go to and no suit. Ended up going to another store which was slightly more expensive but I would pay 20% more EVERY time to avoid this absolute joke of a shop. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It seems staff ranges at this place. I generally had a lovely experience. Easy to pop in and have a look, staff inside always ready to measure you, pricing and offers are very clear. Also had zero problems with item return. Just some staff don't make you feel welcomed.

If i could give a zero i would. The manager shaun was abrupt, inflexible, insensitive and generally useless. I placed an order for a black suit to attend a funeral and was met with issue after issue. This included poor customer service, computer system issues and then two days prior to the funeral….. missing trousers! Shaun would have quite happily fobbed me off but was left with no choice but to deal with it by my wife who was incensed by the above. Terrible experience and i would urge others to avoid at all coats. Also as a finisher….on return my wife was asked how the wedding went…..amazing.

Wide range of quality to buy suits got all occasions, but my grade is really based upon being able to book in advance an hour (which became 90 minutes) with a consultant upstairs trying on numerous combinations of suits for hire. An enjoyable yet professional service.
