Absolutely shocking service, you wait in a que for 35 minutes to be told everyone one of your doctors are fully booked, been there years now and it’s always been the same! Feel sorry for the people who are desperate and really do need their doctor instead of people going in with a cough or head aches!!

Why have you stopped the telephone prescription line. My daughter used it every month, now she has been asked to find time to call in to register for online prescriptions. She doesn't get home from work till 6.15 so it's not easy to get there to join. Why can't they post it out to her. I'll never understand.

It is like an absolute free for all trying to get an appointment here! I have called hundreds of times some mornings and the phone is constantly engaged and when I do get through there are no appointments left. When you do finally get an appointment, make sure you are not late! Because if you are you will be sat there for a good hour waiting to get seen by the doctor but if you do arrive on time, bring your slippers and a good book cause you’re gonna be sat there a while! I always come early to my appointments and have never ever been seen at or within 20/30 minutes of my appointment time. The waits and booking system is ridiculous and so is the attitude of some of the receptionists. Some of them are lovey. Do not get me wrong but the bad attitude on some of these women with no empathy can do more damage than good to anyone suffering g any sort of anxiety or depression

I called Morrill street to make an appointment. As always we the patients are told to call the Practice at 8am in the Morning in order to get an appointment and as always the phone is constantly engaged from 8am to 8.30am which where when you finally get through are told there is none available. However today was different ..not only was I told there was no appointments but I was spoke to by a lady called Joanne who didn't even know what the word Empathy meant and who proceeded to speak to me like I was something other than a frustrated unwell patient. When she put the phone down I called Healthwatch and was upset , the lady there also called Joanne gave me some advice and told me to call the practice back and ask to speak to the Manager and explain my situation . The Manager Lynn was very considerate and apologised for the receptionist and made me an appointment for the next day. I think some receptionist certainly should not be in a position of trust and also the first port of call for unwell people. It is certainly the case of this said person, she is rude , arrogant and doesn't deserve the job she is in. Having worked in Profound care I am not JUST a receptionist but highly trained to work with vulnerable people of all ages and suggest this lady needs to go back through her training, but even then I think if you are not a genuine caring person that would be fruitless and from my experience this person is certainly not.

Reception are so rude and arrogant don't want to help at all. Not all are bad, some could be friendlier especially to those with learning disabilities.

Been with this surgery for nearly 30 years since birth, when Dr tang was there this was probably the best surgery east hull, but the past 5 years have been appalling, iv rang 4 times in a week to try get an appointment with nearly 200 calls a day to get through from 8am to finally get through at 10am to be told sorry too busy, won't even take your name.or problem just nope busy, explain that it's an ongoing issue that I'm awaiting on results and medication for to be told nope. I even said to the receptionist that since Dr tang has left this practice is appalling and she agreed with me happily saying she hears it alot and that she also agrees with this claim. My whole family use to go here but they all left after multiple major incidents but I stayed for ease and now its just ridiculous they said I can have an appointment but uts 9 days away. Horrible to see what was a good surgery go to nothing so quickly.

Tried to arrange an appointment for my friend. Phoned at 7.59am, line engaged ! Redialled a total of 325 times before I got a response. I was then told to phone back at 8am tomorrow as all appointments had gone! It's a disgrace!

Made a mistake on my bloods and took me a month to book to get blood tests again, happy to see how our hard-earned tax money's being spent. The blonde admin at reception is clueless and does the minimum effort enough for you to get away from her.
