Nice music and atmosphere good, but the hookah is worse than nothing. Having such a huge demand why don't you just find a non-handicapped person who can actually make a decent hookah? Rhetorical question. Just don't have it here. Around 20 hookah within my sight and none produce any amount of smoke that would not make you embarrassed. Проще говоря, кальян - говно. Update: When you think can't get any worse, the guy puts new coal which 10 seconds later falls on the table knocking the drinks down. Fair play, replaced the drinks and hookah.

I would probably say this place is ok. There are only two rooms really but in all honesty I had a great time this Saturday in Modo after being rejected from Baa Bar for being 'too old' and from Levels because it was sold out. The drinks are cheap for someone that lives down south anyway.. and the dj was decent. Did not have any issue from any bouncers like many have said.

Great section of cocktails, with a great 2 for £10 offer on all day and night. The app didn’t work for us so we had to ask a waiter everytime which left us sat there quite a while. The outside terrace was fantastic with heating and lights. Great atmosphere and we will be back.

I attended Modo on the 10th July and had a very pleasurable experience with Mia who although was not qualified to serve drinks ensured that a waitress came to take our drinks orders immediately after the app would not work for us. Karen, who took our drinks was also very friendly and gave us great service. Very pleased!

Shocked and appalled at the treatment from modo bouncers. I was excited to attend celebrating a friends engagement and was turned away at the door. When I inquired why the bouncers told me I was too drunk but then followed it up with “we don’t want your kind coming and drinking in our city.” I had only had a couple of drinks beforehand however have short hair so they must have presumed something about me and didn’t want us in. They tackled the situation horrendously and still have not given us the money back for our booking. Do not give your custom to a company so prejudiced and rude.
