I had a bad experience at Milne Bay. The lifeguard there showed disrespect and unfairness toward us, probably regarding our race? She claimed that 16, 15 and 14 year old children was "too young" go to the 2 metre end. The lifeguard also told us this after watching us for more than 30 minutes, and all the while another group of young kids were diving dangerously. She also came up with 5 other reasons which was as absurd as this. The young lady also showed great discomfort and annoyance towards us, which we found extremely disappointing. The place itself is okay, but you might face rude lifeguards and/or swimmers.

A wonderful experience I fell in love with the richness of the place. I'm from Brisbane soon to move

5/ 5

A wonderful experience I fell in love with the richness of the place. I'm from Brisbane soon to move to Toowoomba but it was a country pool but you could feel the history of the place. My and my families experience was more than just a swim. If the grand stand could talk.
