I have been going to millionhairs for some time now and I felt as I need write this up for others to see, since going here I understood millionhairs extremely poor customer service. The staff's and owner/manager janine Cartwright are disrespectful, speak bad of other customers whilst getting my hair done I overheard one stylist say “stupid asian lady” and felt very uncomfortable as I am from that background too. No staff member should show discrimination towards clients and talk very disrespectful towards clients behind their backs. As a customer who's been going regularly Im sick of the language the staff are speaking especially in front of other customers. Hair salons are not just a place to get your hair done but it should also be a place to relax and enjoy your time there, I do not enjoy my time there neither have my friends and sister who have also complained about the staffs poor attitude. I rung up to Cancel my appointment as i was unwell, i wasn’t made aware of the cancellation policy when first came to salon, and was told now that i had to pay a deposit. When asked why I received rude attitude from the receptionist called Julie, when I spoke to janine Cartwright who is the manager/owner, her attitude was even worse. No apology and when i told her about the way her staff speaks about customers she said “that’s your opinion”, it's not my opinion where staff are talking behind customers back saying that stupid asian lady and other things that I feel uncomfortable to write, she didnt solve the matter and when asked her if it’s ok for her staff to speak to me like that she again defended them. Me and my family/friends will not be going back to a very disrespectful salon. Staff and manager have no sympathy for clients and no understanding of how to be professional.
