This place is way better than it used to be. The old score is likely somewhat due to a dragon that used to occasionally be on the phones and would just hang up on people calling in, she was so rude. NOW THOUGH, I haven't seen/heard her in ages (maybe she's gone?) so its just a normal inner-city Surgery. Its pretty good, everyone is as nice as you want them to be. I have plenty of positive experiences from this place.

Awful, phlegmatic staff at reception. I really don't understand how they can allow themselves to speak to clients this way. No one cares about it?? Did anyone read these comments here?? I don't except any special treat, but I think I deserve a polite answer, as I speak to others polite and respectful. Many bad experiences with reception staff in the last 5 years, so maybe I should start looking for a better surgery.

I have been dealing with the surgery for many years and never had problems before. Few weeks back my wife took a copy of a letter she had from an eye consultant who told her at the time that she had cataract and need to wait few years before doing an operation. We waited for an appointment to see a GP for advice that never came. Early this week (25/3 or 26/3) we visited the clinic and they told us they have no recollection about the letter. We were told to come back Friday in order to book a special appointment to see a GP. Today 29/3/2019 at 11:45 we visited the GP and this young receptionist, after hearing us, without even looking at her screen, she told us that she has no appointments and that we have to call in either at 8:00am or 13:00 to book an appointment. Her attitude was that she did not care at all and she just wanted us out of her way. This is not the way to treat your customer. A person like that she should not work in this position where she faces customers all the time. A friendly person is needed for this position and the clinic should make sure that their customers are treated with respect.

There had been a lot of changes to the personnel over the last two or three years leading to a loss of continuity in my view. I know everyone is under a lot of pressure and it must be a nightmare so I try to be as compassionate as possible but I am afraid I have found one or two of the newer reception people haven't always been understanding as the now retired 'old school' ones were

Can people stop leaving bad feedback as it dose not reflect on the professionalism as reviews can put people off. The doctors/nurses are amazing and very caring. Been with the GP for over 4 years now and happiest I’ve ever been.

1/ 5

They lost the forms I submitted when registering as a new patient and I had to wait a very long time until I could have a consultation with a GP. While the registration was sorted out after several phone calls and a long wait, they still failed to create an online access for me so I have been unable to use platforms such as the NHS app since I became their patient. They repeatedly refused to do it for me and they even called me to lecture me when I emailed them for a solution. When it came to consultations with GPs, I also had poor experience. For example, despite having a recent diagnosis of a specific condition from a specialist from the local hospital, the GP refused to issue a prescription for me. Instead, she asked me a series of questions for 15+ minutes just to finally conclude that she does not have experience so I should not expect any help from her. The only positive experience I have had is when my appointment request was forwarded to an out-of-hours GP who listened to me carefully and successfully cured the infection which the GP of the Cherry Hinton Branch Surgery had ignored earlier, probably because she failed to show up at the surgery when she was supposed to and the receptionist had to chase her for a while, and when I was finally seen, it was a rush. If you ask me, no one should want to be a patient here.
