This is what can only be described as a hidden gem ! A fantastic resource for young and old! The museum itself is very interactive as you are in very close proximity to the exhibits with many being hands on with a member of staff being present! The museum also caters for ex servicemen and their families with regular breakfast clubs and a drop in facility for a brew and a chat! So if you want to see great exhibits or you are a veteran just looking to connect with a friendly face please pop by you will not be dissapointed.

Great place to visit ... you'll be amazed when you do. It has a cafe and a outdoor Trench, where children would love to explore. It has just opened a shooting range where you can try your luck at the highest scores. It is run by Ian and an array of veteran volunteers 10/10

Kids loved all the collection of military items in the museum. School trips are more than welcome. A great place for an educational trip to learn about the history of two world wars of the twentieth century and have some fun discovering the trenches outside too. The owner shared their knowledge with us on the items gathered. Throughly enjoyed the experience.

Great museum. Ian and his team are really welcoming and go out of their way to make sure your visit is as enjoyable and informative as possible. Special thanks to the team member who sat with my son and went through various books on the D Day landings in order to help him with his school project. In summary..well worth a visit...

We visited the Museum today. It was so interesting for all of us. My wee boy is doing WW11 as a project at school. So was great to take him and let him see some of the genuine artifacts. Ian who runs the Museum was very approachable and knowledgeable. Mostly everything here is from his own collection. There was also another man who volunteers and he had a good chat with my husband and told him of his own experiences of service. Ian took a lot of time out with us and was very good with my wee boy. Making us all feel very welcome. Nothing was toomuch trouble. We will definitely be back.
