The 2 hour time slot to order prescriptions is ridiculous; arbitrary and inconvenient. They also cancelled several appointments and claimed this was at 'the patient's request' when it was not.

I am totally disgusted with everything about this clinic and wonder what we the general public are paying these people for. I would give it zero stars if I could. I urgently needed a physiotherapy appointment but none available at my surgery, so my doctor sent me to Fairlawns. I drove for an hour from the other side of Sheffield with my painful and injured shoulder. I got stuck in bad traffic jams and arrived there 2 minutes late to find the place in darkness. I could not get into the building because you have to phone them to be let in and I did not have my phone with me. Another patient came out and let me in, so I got inside 3 minutes late. At reception I was left standing there whilst the 'receptionists' chatted amongst themselves and ignored me and my explanation about the traffic. When they finally acknowledged my existence they bluntly told me my appointment is now cancelled because I am late! No apology, smile or care shown whatsoever, just rudeness. I said I wanted to make a complaint and asked for their names and a pen and paper, but they didn't give them to me. Then the physiotherapist himself came out and told me that I could not have had the remaining 9 minutes of my 15minute appointment because he is seeing someone else in my place and there are no more slots! To add insult to injury he also complained that I was taking up his time and interrupting his time with the other patient! The patient who was now in my time slot! Again, no apology or kindness shown. How can this be? Whatever happened to the word 'care'? Have the staff forgotten that the clinic is there for people who are unwell?

Reception staff rude, obstructive and all together very unhelpful. One in particular is dreadful, when you hear her answer the phone your heart sinks and you could cry knowing you will be met by in uncaring attitude. How some of these reception staff have been given jobs is beyond me. I would like to meet the person who does the interviewing!! Terrible reception staff!! GP’s and Nurses are generally lovely though, just need to get through the bodyguards first. I would avoid registering here due to front of house staff!!

The medical staff are good once you get to see them, but the management of the place is appalling. Terribly inefficient processes dating back to the 1990's and communications with patients virtually non-existent. My previous surgery was head and shoulders above this one for management practices.
