The biggest campus in London. I studied BA Film at MDX uni. Professors are cool. They offer all the facilities you need to create high quality film. A lot of film standard equipment. They offer you all you need, simply enjoy the time there!!!

I studied BA film at MDX and I am not very happy... lectures and seminars do not help at all... the way of teaching and the way they approach the lessons is very un useful. The first year is the worse as you finish feeling you do not learn very much. In lectures you just watch a film and then you listen a powerpoint explanation, and in seminars you just think about a story in groups or just answer the questions that the teacher asks... That doesn't prepare you to work in the film industry at all... I did filmmaking courses in Barcelona and Paris and the difference is HUGE. Much better and interesting.

After a protracted complaints process which has lasted a year and two months, the case has been closed with an unsatisfactory amount of compensation. I was a PGCE Secondary Science student training to become a teacher. Many problems but I will focus on just two. First, the university made a mistake in assigning my first school placement. I went to the designated school and was told that I do not have a place. Apology was given by the school but no apology from the university. They told me to wait until they find another school. It took 2 weeks so I was two weeks behind my classmates. But I was grateful for this other school to take me on at short notice. Second problem was that the mentor there was a bully. They were really subtle things but the mentor was bullying and threatening pupils. I told the university about this on several occasions but they simply told me to carry on. So the university did not care if the mentor is breaching the Teachers' Standards. They did not offer me a new mentor. Many of my classmates had already quit in November and December. In hindsight, they quit early to cut their losses. Beyond January, half the course fees are liable. If I had known, I would have quit early but they did not inform me of the extra liability. The university thinks that offering me to take the course again is reasonable. After a mental scarring, it is not a bridge you want to cross again. With an offer to change the mentor,, things could have worked out better. With no support from university or the school, there is little hope. Find a place with more support.

It's a great university with amazing facilities. Fantastic library, free laptops borrowing, free printing. Great teachers and very good support system. Bursaries are available. There are many social clubs and sport clubs. I was in karate club, it was very good. The gym membership is very cheap. Great cafés and a bar.

Very poor management. student seems to be their least priority. My son was very much interested and has a mind set to take admission in Middlesex university. But he lost his 6 month education and also lost his confidence due to delayed decision of rejection by university even after 50% deposit is paid and at least 3 interviews are conducted by the university. However my other son got admission at the same time in Swansea University and the way Swansea university is communicated and adopted the admission procedure with less deposit (20%). I really appreciate Swansea university. Refund procedure of Middlesex university is also very poor they took 3 months for refund which is after various reminders and the amount which I received is very less and details of refund is also not provided.

It was alright, the person that was supposed to give us the tour arrived late but that's not a problem. Experience wise, I was slightly disappointed at the psychology and neuroscience research facilities as I expected it to be more fun and intriguing to be in that space. I would be more thrilled coming there if they offered electric car charging spots as I drive an e-vehicle. Other than that the area it's situated in is peaceful.
