I had previously had a great colouring here following a gone-wrong home attempt at dyeing my hair. So I made another appointment to have the roots touched up, and showed up on time. However, I was left waiting for twelve minutes after the time my appointment was due to start, and there was no sign that I was going to be seen soon. So I got my coat (which had been haphazardly thrown onto a banister by a member of staff) and left. Occasionally places are short-staffed, or a treatment takes longer than expected. That's understandable. What upsets me was that I was left to wait for a long time with no explanation. Had someone said, "We're really sorry, but unfortunately we're running behind and won't be ready for you for [amount of time]." I would have been friendly about it, and gone and gotten a coffee, and gone back. But this place is a quality salon, with prices to match, and I was not happy being left sitting there. They are good at what they do, and it was probably an off day. Nonetheless, I will not be coming back.
