They are the worst lettings company I've been with -- and I've been with a few. They were really quick to get you signed up, but once you have they don't care about you at all. They were so keen to find us a flat and returned all of our calls back then, but now they haven't returned a single call. Emails were replied to selectively. DO NOT make the same mistake as I have. STAY AWAY. You'd be better off letting privately.

I agree with all the reviews. NEVER, EVER, try to deal with Merchant Lettings. They are after you all the time when they need money, then they will completely forget about you. They do not care about repairs and other issues AT ALL, your property manager never answers the phone or your emails. I tried to write a formal complaint to the director of the agency. THE DIRECTOR, not the office manager. And he never got back to me, never apologised. If you do not want your stay in the flat to become hell, do not rent anything with Merchant Lettings. They are completely unprofessional and their approach is rude and inconsistent.

Terrible: They have cancelled a viewing for the same flat 20 MINUTES before the appointment TWICE in one week! Utter disrespect for a person's time. Do NOT get into business with them. This is just terrible management
