A very bad experience.
Booked my van in as the battery was not holding its charge, still under warranty i expected a replacement,not a hope in hell! Although i was pre warned by a friend who use to work as a mechanic for the commercial team and also had the battery tested prior, the management gave all sorts of excuses not to supply me a replacement,saying there was a leak and had to strip the whole van down to find it and then would have to change me for the test they had undertaken.
I told the manager to replace the battery as i needed my van urgently they did this within 5 minutes and charged £330.35
Since the replacement the battery holds it charge and all is well, although they said it wouldn't.
I have contacted Mercedes customer services and my solicitor who has advised and Mercedes response was" they have to take the word of the service department".
Lastly I have taken over a business , employ 12 engineers and was seriously considering purchasing six Vito's and one sprinter, No chance off of a bunch of con men.
