I go here for a run and to keep my dog happy daily. It's great for everyone: families with kids, dogs, joggers or people who just want to take a nice walk. I personally love it. The dogs can drink water from the creek or cool down. It's super easily accessible and you can also extend your walk to The Hollies. It has a rocky patch that is wonderful for exercise.
Urban natural Paradise and gorgeous cafe. Vegan friendly and welcomes dogs, great staff and food.
Lovely park with a beck running through it.
Delightful and unspoilt piece of heaven just north of Leeds city centre. I've been visiting this park since I was a child back in the late 1950s, it has changed very little in that time. Great for walking the dog or just a pleasant stroll along the stream. Very tranquil and natural looking. You really feel miles away from it all here. R Gill
A beautiful park amidst the city. Perfect for hiking, strolling, running and even a picnic. Slightly muddy sometimes so better walk with good hiking shoes and absorb the special atmosphere among the woods.
An absolutely privilege to live just next to it. So beautiful park all year around!!! Endless paths and great for dog-walking.
Absolutely one of the best parks in Leeds. Love the flowing water and trees and woods. There are also swings to play too!
Plenty of open spaces, play areas for children, a stream with numerous bridges (great for playing poohsticks with the grandchildren!) and more peaceful areas for quiet contemplation!
Busy but still space to social distance if you avoid the toddler families and parents who allow children to hog the paths with their bikes. Head into the woods or hollies for a decent walk without stress! Cafe and ice cream van do take out coffee also.
