WE RECEIVED OUR CAR BACK WITH SCRATCHES AND SPECS OF PAINT HANGING OFF THE WHEEL ARCH - WE WERE REFUSED REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE DAMAGE We received our car back significantly scratched with specs off paint hanging off the rear wheel arch - clearly showing recent damage. Despite speaking to the member of staff at the airport, an extremely polite and helpful lady, who witnessed the damage we found and agreed we should make a claim however we were refused compensation. We were unable to take detailed photos of each inch of the car before dropping due to the allocated parking bays being cramped and cars either side so they used this as their excuse for not admitting responsibility despite the obvious new damage - paint hanging off the wheel arch. We sent an email as per policy but had to call the office three times, each time being assured someone will call back the same day but this did not happen On the fourth call to the office, we spoke to Bob Gill who lacks basic customer service skills. Bob went on to make ridiculous claims of "majority of customers are able to take adequate pictures" but when asked how often people complain about damage he said "rarely". Bob was able to answer my questions until I asked how he knows it is so easy to take pictures if rarely people try to claim for damages he started agressivley accusing me of talking over him. He was unable to tell me how often people put in claims for damages, on average, nevermind back up his obviously made-up claims. Bob's phone manner was terrible and did not have any figures to back up his vague and obviously made-up "facts". I assume this company is great until there is a problem but I definitely would not advise using this company if you like your car. I suspect problems occur quite frequently.
