Nice little Lake, ideal for a walk or when u just spend some time alone!

A lovely walk, well looked after by caring volunteers. Watched the heron today.

Amazing place to visit. The wardens have done a great job in tidying it up and there are fish & ducks to see.

Sanctuary just a few metres from busy Tadcaster Road.

Excellent place took two of the grandchildren who are doing school project identify types leaves and foliage . Collected quite lot had a good walk around the railway pond and spent some time on the play park. A nice afternoon walk very pleasant.

I had never visited here before previously, despite having lived in York all my life. It's a sweet little hidden gem off Tadcaster Road and was pretty pleasant. I haven't fished there but the folks I saw there seemed pretty happy and it wasn't busy. However, it is a small area so if you're planning a proper walk, you will have to include it on a longer route.

Lovely area particularly for playing hide and seek ( not near the pond!).

Small but ok to spent half an hour or so with the kids
