Matthew Clulee is a legend. This is seriously the best place I’ve ever been to for my hair and colour. Matt listens to you and deals with hair carefully, expertly and thoughtfully every time and always takes time and care. Stefan is a fabulous colourist and has completely revitalised my hair. It’s always such a nice experience to visit and I always come out with great hair and feeling mentally refreshed as well. The atmosphere in the salon is great and every single one of my friends who I’ve recommended it to has been thrilled by what they’ve had done with their hair too. I’d highly recommend this salon to anyone and it’s more than just having your hair cut and coloured. It’s thoughtfully done with great expertise. Thank you.

I have booked a last minute appointment on a Sunday after I had a very bad experience at my local hairdresser. Aleksandra did an excellent job, cut my hair and understood exactly what I wanted. She is very friendly and talented. I definitely recommend this place for the best result. I will be back!

I love going to Matthew Clulee on Ship Street in the beautiful Oxford City Centre. I wouldn’t go anywhere else other than this tranquil oasis of calm amongst the normal every day to day hustle and bustle of the city. The perfect place to relax, unwind and be pampered. I have been coming to Matt Clulee for a hair cut for many years now and have never left feeling disappointed. Really friendly and professional approach to customer care and very talented hairdressers. Matt cuts my hair and does an excellent job! All staff wear masks and good Covid measures in place. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and can’t recommend them enough.

I had my shoulder length hair blow dried and then curled with the straighteners (just the bottom half). It’s was £53 which I thought was rather expensive. He did a good job, but I still think it was expensive.
