My husband is having treatment at outpatients and now as an in patient. The care he is receiving is wonderful, from the Consultant, doctors and the nursing staff. I wouldn't want him to be in any other hospital.

Great hospital but like all hospitals it can be very confusing when you first arrive and are trying to find where you need to go. The side entrance is from the carpark. Just turn left and follow the signs as best you can.

Fell week before Christmas and thought I had sprained wrist. By Christmas Eve morning wrist painful and swollen. Phoned Grosvenor Surgery at 2.30pm, GP rang back and diagnosed possible fracture over the phone. Referred me to Mater Hospital Urgent Care Unit 4.30pm. Seen right away, x-ray and plaster of paris by 5pm. Home 5.30pm. Brilliant service by GP surgery staff and Mater NHS staff in the midst of a pandemic
