I have used many estate agents in Sussex due to renovating and then letting properties around the county and I can honestly say that Martin & Co, especially the Hove Western Road branch go above and beyond. The young girl on the front desk I believe who is called Molly, is always extremely helpful whenever I have any queries, big or small. I understand it is part of her role to be friendly but I always feel that she genuinely cares about mine and my tenants issues and is extremely efficient. Although I sometimes have to use different letting agents due to locations and other unavoidable factors, I use Martin & Co wherever possible.

I have been with several estate and letting agents in the past for both letting my properties out and selling/buying new stock. I have to say Martin and Co are a league above any other agent I have used in the past. I have dealt with Martin in the Hove office who is the most friendly and genuine estate agent I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, he could not have done more to help us. He ensured I had the best tenants possible and the whole process couldn't have been smoother. On the odd occasion I have been into the office I have felt all the staff were very friendly and welcoming (also making me a cup of tea!) and there is a great positive atmosphere in there. I would truly recommend Martin and Co for both letting out and selling/buying property.

The people in Martin & Co are very helpful and understanding when I was searching for student accommodation. They do their best and make every effort possible to satisfy their customers and resolve any issues that may come up. Despite the difficulties with money transactions that we faced as Greeks with capital controls they were very eager to help and provided us with a fast and effective solution. Jarod Palmer is such a great guy. Very professional, accommodating, hard working and always there to help, with kindness and a smile on his face as well as the rest of the team. I would strongly recommend Martin and Co for both letting and selling/buying property.

We were accused us of lying when we complained about ongoing boiler issues which were never resolved. We were also sent emails threatening us with eviction, because we hadn't paid the rent, when, in fact we had, but their accounts department had misplaced the money. When we vacated, we left the property spotlessly clean. We were charged £260 for cleaning, when we were told it was very dirty.

I’d give zero stars if possible. I am a student tenant and I will definitely not be using Martin&co next year. I feel that they exploit that I am vulnerable and new to life away from home. I am paying through the nose for something more resembling a small box than a flat. Nothing works properly and the Flat was not even cleaned before I got there (it was filthy). What’s worse is that I am not given my landlords contact details so when something goes wrong (like right now we are having a power cut) I can’t even contact them. Whenever I call or email Martin&co they never get back to me nor pick up the phone. They still haven’t come collected something left behind by the previous tenants and I’ve been living here for 3 months! Really appealing service and I’m only really writing on here to see if they will actually reply and help me!

We have been dealing with Martin and his team for a number of years both through a managed tenancy and the subsequent sale of our property. Everyone we have dealt with has been efficient, courteous and helpful. Superb service from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I would rate Martin & Co Brighton higher than 5 stars if the option was available! all of my dealings with the team have been professional, Martin & Co are very responsive and update every step of the way to assist, I would highly recommend using Martin & Co for all of your property needs whether rental or a sale! I would like to say a big thank you to Martin who always comes across friendly and would make any time no matter how busy he is, to answer questions and come up with solutions which is rare to find with some Agents, so thank you! and also Emma who works so very hard to help her tenants and clients, nothing is to much trouble for Emma, you are an asset to the Company. Keep up the good work : - )
