Confusion over my mot payment. I thought it was part of my contract, they said no. My fault and all sorted. Generally the service and sales team are outstanding and would recommend dealing with Marshall Cars are of excellent quality and after care is very good

Took my car in for a minor service, no problems there. However, when I came to collect my car, from your visual health check, you advised me that I needed nearly £900 worth of repairs doing to my car. I then took my car to my local garage, who we have used for 20 years and trust. They did an inspection on the car and found that some of the issues you guys came up with either didn't exist or weren't as severe as you guys made out to be. What does this tell us about your integrity and quality of service??? On top of this your customer service is almost non existent from the moment you walk in the shop to the moment you leave. I tried to ring the service manager to discuss these issues, he was unavailable at the time due to being with a customer, however the receptionist assured me that the service manager will ring me back, so far he hasn't, which suggests to me he is happy to ignore his customers.

Appalling customer service. I had to call out roadside assistance within 24 hours of purchasing a vehicle & again 4 days later. ESP system was intermittently cutting/reducing engine power while driving along causing the ECP & Exhaust System light to turn on. On both occasions I called the garage after speaking with roadside assistance to inform them of the issue. On neither of the occasions did they return my call. After the second call out, the car was taken back to the garage where I also mentioned I could hear the brakes disks from inside the car when applying the breaks. Faulty wiring was rectified & all break discs replaced due to corrosion! Once the car was ready, I was told I had to collect by 6pm the next evening otherwise they will be charged for the hire car. I work full time & won't even arrive home until 7:30pm tonight after having to walk back from the train station after the hire car today wasn't available!!! I don't think it should have been too much to ask to collect the car a convenient time in this situation or offer to drop it off. Not a single apology at anytime not good enough at all. I've seriously considered returning the car too them.

I visited Volkswagen on Saturday due to searching for my first car. Catia approached me with a warm welcome and made me feel at ease as well as my brother, dad and boyfriend. She was extremely helpful by asking what I was looking for where she took these things into consideration and showed me a variety of cars. Due to this being my first car I did not hold much knowledge about cars. Therefore, whenever I was confused about a certain topic, this would be explained to me in a way that I could understand. My overall experience was amazing and my first car purchase did not feel stressful at all.

I am extremely impressed with the level of customer service and care I have received from this branch. I had an issue arise with a car door over the weekend, which meant it wasn’t ideal to drive it. I spoke to Andy on Monday and despite their service team being unusually busy he arranged for me to pop in today to have a technician assess the situation and see how quickly it could be rectified. He even said that they would do something to make the issue “less of an issue” over the next few weeks until they were able to accommodate my car. Leon, the technician in question, was friendly and helpful. He had a Plan B in place if they didn’t have the part needed in stock too! He resolved the problem in about 20 minutes and I now have my car back and fully functional at an extremely busy time of year for me. I really appreciate both Andy and Leon’s time and the effort and enthusiasm they both put in to resolving this issue. It would have been very easy to declare that they were too busy but they recognised that it was something that they could assist with and have left me a very satisfied customer of their service department and dealership.

I’ve had a brilliant experience recently with purchasing a new vehicle at Marshall Volkswagen Kidlington, and would recommend to anyone looking at changing their car. The whole team were great throughout, in particular Sunil and Paul went above and beyond to make sure I was an extremely happy customer. The sales team worked to ensure I went away happier than I could have imagined, with a better car than I had originally come in to look at. I’ve purchased a Golf Active and it’s absolutely brilliant, would definitely recommend. 5 star team!

Excellent service from Christian and Jason. The car needed a service and they were courteous and efficient. The car was also cleaned and looked great when I picked it up. Plus they gave me the good news that the car did not need a new cam belt ! Thanks
