Venue: On first impressions, a good location next to the marina. Beautiful blue waters, and ample parking. The 2 bedroom that we booked, Perks: 1. Had it's own gated parking area, thoughtfully right in front of the apartment. 2. Apartment was on the ground floor, so 5/5 for accessibility. 3. Was clean. 4. Had all the necessary toiletries, tea, coffee, and cleaning supplies. 5. Had enough linen and towels for 4 guests. 6. Had a nice ground floor balcony, facing the city (nothing to see here). Dislikes: 1. The interiors need a serious overhaul. It looks like something you'd expect in the 1980s. 2. The bathroom doors used to have a spring closing mechanism, which have since been removed, however no patch up was done to cover the holes left from the screws. 3. All the door handles were old and need retrofitting. 4. The bathroom tiles and furnishing, need updating to bring them into the 2000s. 5. The entire apartment was generally aging, and not something you'd expect to find in a 4 star property. 6. There was no clear signs showing where the reception was on the property. Needs better signage. 7. The restaurant that was supposed to be open 7 days a week, was closed during the supposed operational hours Staff: The staff were friendly and rather helpful, so full marks there. It was a pleasant experience. Overall, I wouldn't say this property is befitting of the 4 star status. I would say it's more like a 2.5 to 3 star property. Especially when you are paying a premium for the rooms.

Had a great stay here, staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were excellent. We had the 2 bedroom superior apartment, unfortunately didn't get the sea view (which we will do next time), we did have a partial view of the beach on foreshore. The rooms were large, wifi, nice kitchen living area with DVD player and foxtell. Beds comfortable and large balcony, two bathrooms and washing machine/dryer. There's a pool on site and restraunt (Skeetas) though you usually have to book ahead for that. It's in a great location with a short walk to the marina, museum, foreshore/beach, play areas/water park, pubs, cafes and shops. Overall had a nice relaxing and comfortable stay.
