Walked in, explained what I needed, arranged delivery. Was given free delivery even though I was a little under the threshold. Chap turned up to deliver, explained that they had almost all my items, but had struggled to source long 2x2 PSE. We talked it over, and since I didn't mind one rough edge, he set of to cut down some 2x4 for me. Within a couple of hours he was back with the goods, despite me saying not to worry if it was tomorrow. Excellent service, very reasonable prices. I would easily and very readily recommend them to anyone looking to do a bit of woodworking.

Bought pva 5 litre SCOTCHMAN ROAD BRANCH charged £24 Inc vat. Glad I Noticed on reciept asked lad at counter he said it was the right price. I returned obviously. Rang the MANNINGHAM CONCRETE BTANCH CEMETRY RD for price 5 litre pva was told £15.45 Inc vat. Asked the lady why I was over charged at MANNINGHAM TIMBER SCOTCHMAN ROAD BRANCH she repyd that I need to tell them the price quoted at CEMETRY RD BRANCH to get discount. NONSENSE. PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS TO SAVE BEING RIPPED OFF. AND YES BOUGHT PVA 5 LITRE £8

As a semi enthusiastic and unknowledgeable amateur I always find Manningham Timber welcoming. You don't feel judged for asking questions, the staff are always helpful and the price is always lower than I expect. And they always have whatever I have decided I need in stock (even when it turns out I bought the wrong thing because I have no idea what I am doing...)
