Had afternoon tea here. Champagne was nice. The sandwich, wrap and mini sliders were very tasty and of good quality. Cakes were nice, not all to my personal taste. Strawberry milkshake was a fun touch. Could have a better selection of teas.

Lovely hotel, although perhaps too done up. Bed small but excellent mattress, linens, pillows and towels. Housekeeping terrific.Good service in general after a spotty first breakfast. Didn't eat other meals in the restaurant other than breakfast but the bar was nice. A little out of the way but the walks to different sections were invigorating. Glasgow is a very friendly, interesting city.

Wonderful place for a delicious meal or afternoon tea. Staff are incredibly attentive without being intrusive and are good at creating a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. Each time I've visited, I've been well fed with fantastically made, freshly cooked meals. The afternoon tea selection is one of the best in Glasgow. The menu includes some traditional favourites alongside more contemporary elements, such as mini milkshakes. Will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant was absolutely amazing! I ordered a steak that melted in my mouth and I was left wanting more after I finished the meal. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Anne.

Nice hotel - good room size, clean and well-kept, friendly helpful staff. Good location for the business end of town, and only about 10 minutes walk from Glasgow Central station. Room temperature was really good - no stuffy aircon. Would happily stay here again.

Although table booked for lunch in restaurant only table in bar with bar menu. Burger served on small wooden platers which when removed at end of meal the relish slipped onto my shirt and trousers. I can only assume no plates were available.

Interesting building converted from a bank. We stayed in a suite which was peculiarly dysfunctional, particularly the bathroom. One of my pet hates is bathrooms clearly designed by men, and this was a great example of the genre - it's impossible to get close enough to the mirror to do your makeup. The shower is in the bath, and you have to get into the bath to turn it on. The bar in the basement is characterless. On the plus side breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, the staff were nice and it's dog friendly.
