Malai Thai Massage – manchester

I had a neck,shoulder,back massage here today with a foot massage too. I did read all the reviews before I visited and I saw several bad ones. However, it's the good ones that stood out more and I visited. From the moment she saw me walk in. The lady who owns the place was so welcoming, sweet and attentive. Asked me about my aches and pains beforehand. Thai massage is different to the ones I usually get. But it was brilliant! You ask yourself during the massage: "What on earth is she doing to my shoulder.. oh my god that feels amazing" I honestly felt lighter. The Thai music played is so gorgeous. Only one down side which i didn't't want to write but would like the owner to see. As I do believe it could affect any future business with new customers like myself. During a massage I don't like to have a conversation about my life or listen to someone tell me about their life. I am sure many people don't. But Amy (A staff member) did continue to ask me many questions about my life and share her life during the massage. Which entailed lots of talking. And during a massage is a no no. Amy gave me a wonderful massage though and was very sweet. Just would prefer not to have a conversation during my massage.. Would I go again though, yes. It was fab. I have been to Malai Thai on several occasions. This was to alleviate the aches and pains that someone of my age gets from regular gym workouts. On each visit I can say that I left Malai Thai feeling a lot better than I went in. There was a conversion beforehand to establish any particular muscle problems, and I was asked regularly during the session if the pressure applied was comfortable. The fee is very reasonable for the excellent service provided; in my opinion a higher charge would be more in line with the city centre location. Although card payments are not accepted, cash payment contributes to keeping client costs down. I have no problem with this personally provided adequate records are kept. I shall continue to visit Malai Thai as I feel the service is professional and competent.

The audacity the three people who just said that she was awful. She is a lovely lady to work with, have massages and she communicates so that the customer doesn't feel uncomfortable. Yes COVID 19 is still a thing, but it does NOT mean you should hate on a small business owner. She's been approved by Afflecks and doesn't need any hate. It's honestly disgusting to know that one of the customers yesterday, got so angry as they didn't have any cash. And she had already done the massage for them, and they didn't pay her. Absolutely disgusting to the people who gave bad reviews to her. Honestly, she's a lovely person and she helps with so many aches in your body. I definitely recommend her. Please do not think she's awful with the false accusations.

The lady at this shop is one of the most kind and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Please do not let the prejudice of one disgruntled customer review deter you from coming to this lovely shop.

Shame on the people who gave bad reviews on the woman who works there. Yes COVID-19 is a thing, but she’s been approved. She has much lower costs than other massagers and is such a nice woman.

Really bad experience. I never leave bad reviews, but this experience was just a joke. It was supposed to be a 20min neck massage for £15. After 10 minutes she said that I was done! She gave me £4 back and said she had another customer coming. During the 10 minutes, it was not relaxing. She really rushed it and went out of the room twice to see other customers. I got a big shock when her phone (which was next to my head on the table) rang so load in my ear with an awful ring tone. I thought it was a hidden camera show it was that bad! Awful!

Been a customer for years, really helped my back and shoulders recover from injury. Absolutely brilliant highly recommend this place.

Hello, I have been to Malai Thai Massage quite regularly. I have experienced sports massage, accuppressure and aromatherapy massage and Have over the years practiced yoga, chi gong, and personally learn reflexology and Reiki. I have been made redundant from my hospitality job for a year and my body had not been used to the hardwork of kitchen work.Now, I have got back to work in a restaurant, and my back muscles has taken a beating the first few weeks, but now my body is getting strong. I have experience of many Asian cultures and have a deep love and respect. The Chinese lady who I see regularly is the owner. She is a kind and professional person and passionate about making people di-stress. I think if I had not got the massage once a week in the first one and half months I would not of been able to sustain the pace of work in my restaurant. Sue is very professional. I must repeat that she does not offer sexual services. And hear how sad and frustrating it is for her when people want so called happy ending, and something more. If someone comes in with such intention, she tells them to leave and does not ask for payment. She is christian in the broad sense and love and respects all religions and takes her work seriously and is a person of integrity. She offers full body massage for £35. and and £25 for half hours. And also foot massage. She and workers at the weekend do couples. I would recommend visiting Sue and make time to visit her. If you have painful muscles, stress related issues, you would feel so much better. It is challenging at this time because of Coronavirus and some people do not work or are not free visit in the week day, but certainly weekend. However, if you can come anytime, just come, you will be welcomed with a warm hearted and genuine caring person.
