We had the same experience as others- appointment on a Sunday cancelled at the last minute. Surely the weekend is when they should be offering appointments. Clearly not interested in customerror service.
Don't bother. They don't know what they are actually doing. They'll sell you more than you need and refuse to return any items of total £500+ For a 22k kitchen I wo uod expw t some proper service but I have only been disappointed 2 years on I really would shop elsewhere. It's just not worth the problems out will face with magnet
Nice looking kitchens, but DO NOT get these fitted by the Magnet installers under any circumstances. Please read below: It was a tortuous experience. Despite persistent chasing of the Magnet team in the Clapham Store, the fitters failed to get in touch with me beforehand to do the survey. The survey is meant to take place several weeks before the installation; instead it was 48 hours beforehand. Then when it came to the actual installation week, the fitters slipped badly on timings for delivery. Having promised to complete the work by a Friday, they decided to not turn up that day without informing me. I had taken the day off work to manage the process and liaise with our other builders, but was left lamenting a complete wasted day. One of our units (carousel) was also the incorrect size for the space. Upon completion, the fitters simply left the unit in the property, rather than arranging for the replacement and managing the process. Two weeks post installation and we are far from satisfied customers. There are already question marks over the quality of the fit in the kitchen. One of the units has been poorly attached to the wall, and is already slipping on one side. We were unfortunately persuaded by the glossy showroom and holiday promotions. I would urge other kitchen shoppers to avoid making the same mistake. Please thoroughly investigate alternatives, such as Benchmarx or similar trade kitchens and get it fitted by a trusted and competent builder.
Booked an appointment to design our kitchen several weeks in advance as we could only make Sundays. Turned up and the shop assistant said they had tried to contact us as they needed to cancel. This was a lie, they had the correct number. They also did not email us despite having our email address, and previously contacting us by email. The excuses started and the shop assistant, who was beyond incompetent, stated that she was unable to help us as the design software on her computer was not functioning. They also promised to call us again today to rearrange, which they have again failed to do. Having assessed whether I want a company who is unable to use a phone, is unable take any initiative to use email, has poor time and office management, only has one copy of working kitchen design software, I have decided to use any other company over Magnet
Tenisha at the Clapham branch was incredibly helpful from start to finish, even when I made last minute changes! She was incredibly knowledgable and listened to all of my ideas. She has helped my vision of my dream kitchen come to life!
I recently bought a kitchen from Magnet Clapham and I was very happy with the service. If you read the recent reviews you may be put off, but perhaps there has been a change in management since. Current store staff went above and beyond to meet my needs. Appointments were easy and on time, the kitchen was delivered without any problems and there were a few exchanges and refunds that were done without much hassle. Store manager was super helpful as was my kitchen designer. Recommended!
I’ve had an appointment booked for tomorrow for over a week. They cancelled at 5pm today with no real reason and no attempt to reschedule. I won’t bother again.
Awful Design Service at Clapham Store Pushy, rude, and unhelpful, the designer at the Clapham Showroom had no interest in answering my questions during the virtual design call, only in getting his deposit. They are not skilled designers; they are very pushy salespeople only interested in the sale and not the customer. When I called him again (as a courtesy) to say I was running a little late (around 20 minutes) for my in-store appointment he shouted at me, "you people come 30-45 minutes late then everything backs up” When I asked why he was shouting at me, he said, “I'm terminating this call." and hung up the phone abruptly! AVOID the Clapham Branch – I called another branch and they were more helpful. Then I made an appointment with Wren Kitchens who were far kinder.
