The staff are lovely and extremely helpful, even so far as helping us walk our dogs to our cabin so we could unpack our car even quicker during a storm. and the cabins are excellent. Very well equipped, beautiful interior and exterior. I couldn't recommend this place any higher for anyone holidaying with dogs. Thank you so much for our wonderful three night stay.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and the whole experience was just weird as the entire place is borderline dystopian. Anne (the so-called manager) is just odd, condescending and robotic. She will stand there and read rules and terms and condition like you’re a child or a solider at a military facility (I can’t decide which) and is rigid to the point of ridiculousness. The rooms are fine, but need some serious updating for the price, as do the facilities. We don’t mind rustic, but the place is generally in disrepair. Even then we’d tolerate it if the customer service was there, but to be treated like kids in a pre-school when we are adults living in the real world is just offensive. Anne - it’s obvious you’re writing replies to these reviews in the third person so here’s a word of advice. Stop making excuses in your replies and pay attention to what people are saying about your manner and how you present to customers. Treat people like adults, not children, and try smiling once in a while. You will probably find your life improves as will your relationships with people, and, importantly, your customers. …and before you start looking for a Jerry in your records, don’t bother. This isn’t my real name but I can assure you I was a real customer.

The place was decent to stay, however the experience with reception lady was rude and incourteous. This is a good place being managed by an ill mannered manager. It’s nice to have good friendly staff in such places.
