Beautiful salon situated in the city centre with excellent range of services. Always welcomed by very friendly and attentive staff with Government Procedures in place for the safety of their staff and clients. I have been a client of Stephanie’s for 21 years and I can honestly say I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my nails. Stephanie always goes above and beyond with outstanding attention to detail. Large array of nail colours on display and she’s always happy to recommend colours that would suit you, can’t forget to mention the great chats we have. I’d highly recommend this salon to anyone and worth more than '5 Stars'

I have been going to Amy for my gel manicures for years and cannot even consider going anywhere else. The girl is talented and can do any nail art requested and always has ideas when I don’t know what I want. I go every 3-4 weeks but the gel lasts past this time. She is friendly and ensures her station is always super clean with additional measures now in place. The salon on the whole is lovely, they have implemented procedures in the current environment to make you feel safe and you are made to always feel very welcome by all staff and owners on your arrival. Cannot recommend enough.

All the staff are so friendly and professional. I, at the moment only go for manicures with Amy. Amy is so professional and friendly and I absolutely love how wonderful she makes my nails look. The standard is always extremely high, and my gels stay looking great for at least 4 weeks. Can’t recommend a visit to Amy highly enough.

Amy has done my nails for 4 years. Wouldn’t have anyone else do them! Always highest standard and great attention to detail. Macintyre's is always a lovely and friendly atmosphere and in a perfect location in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. Good to go get lunch or a bit shopping after The health and safety measures are brilliant and make you feel safe and comfortable.

Could not recommend this salon more!! I have been going to Amy for a few years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else for a manicure and pedicure! Always professional, hygienic and friendly! Many colours to choose from and amazing nail art!!! The salon itself is clean and clients always feel comfortable and safe, especially during these uncertain times. Definitely the best salon in Edinburgh!

I'm over the moon with my haircut. My hairstylist (Jessica) was so nice and she talked me through her thoughts for my hair which I appreciated. I have curly hair and I generally feel anxious about going for a hair cut but she assured me that we could do something lovely with my hair and we did. Jessica was also super chatty and made me feel at home while getting my haircut. She also recommended products to me afterward so I can more effectively look after my hair; which is amazing! Apart from that all the other staff were super nice and efficient and I've gotten so many compliments on my new hair, I'm in love. 10/10 would recommend...

Had the best experience in this hair salon ever 4 of us from Ireland arrived in Edinburgh for a few days and started our holiday with a wash cut and blow dry The atmosphere was fantastic in the salon and the owner even gave us all a glass or two of champagne what an amazing guy and a brilliant business man all the girls were lovely and made us feel welcome but we still talk about the owner/manager and the craic we had with him it was the highlight of our holiday and we will remember it for ever I would highly recommend this salon what a great way to start a holiday

I've been going to Macintyres for years and years. I always leave feeling good and with exactly what I want - a lovely hairdo! Always enjoy a blether with Claire and the team. Highly recommended.

I basically have a curly and dry hair and so I got my Keratin treatment done on 23rd Nov, I washed my hair after 23 hrs with no shampoo and my hair was back to normal old dry style like no keratin is applied on it. I understand there can be some mistake from any end, I approached the saloon management on phone and told them what has happened, I was really really shocked and disturbed with the way the management responded to it. they started blaming me for not taking their shampoo products. If Incase I've used any other shampoo will the hair turns out be in old style just for one wash? I absolutely loved their ambience and the way the staff treated me when I was in, But they are not at all ready to address the customer's concerns once you step out. Trust me I have never seen any management talking in such a rude way, the way that owner spoke to me. I can't understand how are they expecting me to be silent after spending almost 130 pound and not having the results on. Whatever might be the issue, the owner might have shown due respect when talking to the customer.

Great salon! Lovely people. Had a great experience with Emily. She did a fabulous keratin treatment which is a life saver and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to do this. Went back for a second time for a cut and she's done a great job. She gets me!!!
