Fantastic staff. Building looking a little dated. Staff exceptionally well trained and good mannered. However at a room cost of 110 pound per night the fact that the room heating did not work was poor. Room was spotless and large. However , with so many of us using electrical devices such as laptops , to have the socket either side of the bed with special plugs you can only plug the table lamp into was ridiculous. The rear car park is poorly signed for directions causing a five minute drive around the one way system. Brilliant location if coming by train. Car park was very secure but £25 per day is expensive. Breakfast was great with a chef serving a good full English.

Good points- room size, clean, nice beds and good pillows.Looks and feels like 4 star hotel but when you stay it disappoints on several fronts.Food in the dining room is poor quality and over priced (£5 small basket of frozen French fries), the spa staff were not helpful and assumed we knew where to go and what to do, staff at breakfast came to offer coffee when we had almost finished. We asked for tea bags from the desk waited an hour then asked again. To keep its 4 star status the staff need to up their game.

Great room, decent amenities, and spa, spacious bathroom with shower and bath. Just wish the pillows were better for me as they were either to hard or too soft. Would recommend if you stay over a day or two.

Tiny room, old hotel, good location. These are the words that describe this place the best. For now I am staying in the hotels for quite a long period of time, and I would say that this particular hotel isn’t 4 star hotel, how it was claimed. I would say 3 plus. Obviously the best part of it is location, but I can’t add anything to it. The room is shabby, and definitely the hotel is old as a hell, it definitely needs to be re-designed or at at least something has bring a life back to it. From amenities there is almost nothing except of huge bottles of soap and shower gel, which is quite sad. For sure I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you would ask me:)

Very swanky. Me and my girlfriend went and had a very nice night. Room was very nice (The bathroom is bigger than my Bedroom back home so kinda rethinking my living situation) The food was rather pricey in my opinion but then again I am student with lack of a small loan of a million dollars but you get what you paid for in general. To sum up, big ups. Deffo worth giving a look.

Loved this hotel. I stayed on my own and was made to feel super comfortable by the staff here. Highly recommend the restaurant. Delicious food and calm ambience. The breakfast is great, too. Fantastic view overlooking the city from the room and very comfortable bed.

Stunning hotel! Love the fact that 4 of us cod share 1 room, that isn't an option at many hotels and it made a big difference for me and my friends. The room was gorgeous and everything in the bathroom was Elemis which was a lovely tough. Extremely reasonably priced too! Would definitely come again

CAUTION: Make sure when booking through, you have a flexible booking rate just in case you need to reschedule dates. The hotel general manager (SR) has a very uncompromising and unsympathetic response in line with 'head office' policy even if circumstances change due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control. Would not recommend booking this hotel if you want an understanding and caring management team.

Had a 55 min full body massage with Debbie at the spa and it was great. Very relaxing and therapeutic. Well worth the visit. I sprained my ankle mildly a couple of weeks prior and after the massage it felt relaxed and better than it has since I sprained it; not tight at all. Very experienced and lovely person.

Nice hotel centrally located. We stayed here for a project. All in all the hotel is very well located. It’s right by the train station so it’s easy to get around. The hotel it self was nice. The rooms are very large.
