Just got back from a short break at this hotel. The hotel was value for money, with nice bedroom and comfortable beds. The leisure club is small but good. However, what really stands out here are the staff who, in these challenging times, were hard working, friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

I attended a family reunion Sat 21 2021, we booked B & B, very pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the hotel accommodation and the beautiful grounds. the staff were very helpful particularly Paul on Saturday evening. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast covered every taste, hot or cold, superbly cooked and presented. i have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Although we didn’t stay at the hotel, we did have a spa day here. Lovely location next to two reservoirs, perfect for a nice walk. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly (a special thanks to Nicola), the massages and facials were very relaxing. The one down side is the hotel does need a refurb especially the spa area, it’s all a bit worn out and the changing rooms did smell pretty bad.

One star is generous for this hotel. Avoid at all cost! Not the best service, we were promised an upgraded room for our honeymoon that didn’t happen, the food…well just don’t order the fish cakes and king prawns! Even the tea at breakfast tasted odd. Can’t think of anything nice about the hotel, at least it was only one night for us.
