M Social Singapore – lake district

Stayed one night at M Social Hotel last Sunday. It is a contemporary boutique hotel with Loft-Style rooms, in Robertson Quay area facing Singapore River. The entire hotel premise is very clean and neat with arty-farty design. Generally, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room which we stayed is very tiny with not much storage space, but the design is trendy with loft celling

When checking in into the room, there is some hint of tobacco smell but it was just minor and I did not bother about it, but when I come back to the room after dinner, the tobacco smell inside the room become worsen and I talk to the front desk about my problem they told me the hotel is fully booked, they offer me some fragrance spray but It’s not effective. Second time I talk to the front desk and they send a technician to look at the air condition but the technician ask me to keep the door open . Third time I talk to the front desk I request for refund and I pack up my stuff Leaving the hotel at midnight . Yes, it’s a non smoking room.

By far the worst experience i have ever felt during a staycation in singapore. You are a 4 star hotel but a 1 star staff service. Me and my wife was wrong to think that this place would be a good place to chill. Upon arriving, there was a queue for check in. And the staff told us that waiting time was for an hour. Like we already book but we still had to wait for our rooms ? Because of that our plans all had to change. Secondly, when we checked into our rooms, thinking everything would be fine, nope ! We found out that there was no towels provided. Thankfully i brought an extra towel whick me and wife had to share. Called in to the front desk today morning, which took forever to pick up. All we wanted was them to send up towels for us. But nope until, 6pm then we received the towels Is this even a way you all treat a guest in your hotel ? How did you all get a 4 star for this kind of service ? Best thing, no recovery service for given to us when all this happen. Worst hotel/service ever. Hopefully they will look into this and change things around.

This hotel really not worth it 1) No make up/house keeping service during our 3D 2N stay in this hotel 2) our toes keep knocking at the side of the metal bed frame during to the limited space of the room 3) no room services after 6 or 7pm which we had to go down to front desk personally to collect additional room amenities 4) when we go for Swimming at 8pm, no more Swimming towels for the guest. 5) Definitely not a 4 star hotel service I am expecting and certainly I will not come back here ever again.

Great room for couples. But location not so ideal for staycay. Check in process was a little slow but check out was great! Fork and spoons not available in room. Need to collect from restaurant which I think may not be the best arrangement. Nonetheless the room was great and comfortable. Very clean!! Good place for me to do a short staycay and do work at the same time!

Long check in, decent cleanliness, many mess-ups Room design was great, even though small. Would appreciate if check-ins were staggered instead of letting people queue. Ushered to sit in a restaurant and given a drink, a nice gesture but I would think it didn't make up for the 3 hour wait. Check-in/receptionist was trying to clear the queue, and made me sign forms which had T&C, but was irate when I asked for details. Had special request (2 rooms to be on same floor) which were not entertained. Room cleanliness is decent. But could be improved; saw small dots on bathroom floor that I could easily wash away. Sink seemed slightly clogged. Power plugs were damaged. Filed a report but no one came. Asked for breakfast at 8.30-9.15, delivered at 10.05. Staff generally helpful. When asked for water to be delivered to room, it came pretty quickly, so that's appreciated.

Thank you for the amazing cocktail activity! Had hell lots of fun. Very eye opening as well. Would do it all over again. The “trainer” was very interactive and funny as well. Enjoyed it so so much.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable swanky and cool. The staff is amazing, very polite and helpful and really looks after you. Our room was spotless! Great location in River Valley by all kinds of great restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!!!! 5++ stars!

The hotel located at the prime location! I enjoyed the stay and definitely comeback again. The pool is nice and has gym also. The hotel is very well decorated and very clean. The room might looks small but it has everything you need bonus point.. the bed is very comfy. The staff were helpful throughout the stay, very friendly and always make sure we have a good time. I strongly recommended.

Everything was lovely. I think adding a little stronger nice scent to room would be a plus to your guest experience. I think especially for female patrons; we love scent. Also, I really love that you guys provide a Smart TV! :) Very convenient for us to find digital entertainment!
