Unprofessional. Receptionist don’t know where you need transferring. You’ll be on the phone to this hospital everyday. Staff are mentally unwell. No staff member can actually help. They will always say you need to speak to someone else. Worst place to be.

My sister has psychosis and she is having one of her episodes now and they have left my disabled mum to deal with her at home when she's just getting worst it's disgusting when my sister has asked to be taken in and she's been told there's not beds. Our mother was admitted to the Dementia Assessment Unit the middle of July from the Nursing Home she was at. The care our mother received at Lynfield was above and beyond any care we could have wished for. She was sadly put on end of life the middle of August; the staff on the DAU were so caring to her and all the time kept her dignity. They were very supportive to me and my sister explaining everything to us. The staff were all angels to our mum and thank them from the bottom of our hearts to every single member of staff who looked after her; you all deserve a medal ❤️❤️

I was shocked that this kind of place still existed in England in 2021. I was sent here to 'calm down' and get myself together after a mental health breakdown. On entering all I could hear was fighting, screaming, alarms and people running up and down the corridors. I had to wait 4 hours in a room and beg to be let home for my own sanity. The staff here pretend to care but with the exception of one male manager I didn't believe any of them could care less. When I asked to leave I was confronted by 4 staff all raising their voices and taking to me all at once. Not the thing to do at all. I really feel sorry for people who have no alternative but to end up here. What an absolutely soul destroying experience all round.
