If you have the opportunity to go somewhere else do not come here. This is a mediocre college at best. Teaching varies massively so you might get a good teacher but you might not. Don't take the risk. Class sizes are huge and so teachers aren't able to cope with the amount of work that needs to be marked and often aren't experienced enough to give you good or correct feedback on how you can improve. My teachers were also absent frequently throughout the two years and we were told to just 'work independently'. At first, the relaxed atmosphere after coming from a high school is nice but after a while you will realise it's just because they don't care and don't have the budget or resources to support you. The exam's office are very rude and unprofessional when dealing with students/parents as well. Our poor results speak for themselves. Please check and compare thoroughly with other sixth forms before you decide to come here.

Staff are rude only care about themselves and try to cover their own backs. This issue stems from the principal right down through colleges heirachy. They only focus on the top students in order to maintain the highly undeserved reputation when in truth this college is deteriorating. When you ask for help all you get told is "NO". They are exploiting the fact there arent many colleges like it and have been doing so for years.

Quality of teaching is hit and miss and varies hugely on who your subject teacher is. Careers advisors were very rude and not up to date with admissions policies. Although a great college otherwise, this institution would benefit hugely from a younger senior leadership team who will motivate and support students to work to their full potential. It's only a popular college due to the fact there are no other FE colleges in Luton that offer the same breadth of courses as they do. I truly feel they have exploited this fact and take on as many students as possible for the sole purpose of profit and then leaving them to their own devices.

6th Form College in Luton is waste of time They don't appreciate the students they have and don't care for the way they are seen. During enrolment they become hypercritical about which students they will allow into a course and ones they don't. Which can resit exams and which cannot - even though 2 different students with the same grade have the same basic grades they force one to choose a path they are not prepared or planned for, and the other they offer the course without any questions. The faculty should be looked into and reported. The one major thing that hasn't changed is the smoking of AHEM, hasn't changed in years. It has always been a problem that the Administration seems to ignore, especially when its being done on the College Campus.
