Absolutely rubbish service, been waiting there for two hours for an appointment that even didn't took 3 minutes to be reviewed by the doctor. The doctor was inside on his own for more than 40 minutes. Nurses has to remember him that has more patients waiting in there. That's ridiculous

I have experience of attending orthopaedic outpatients for 3 years at Leeds and always felt they did the absolute best they could although they had an extremely busy service. Unfortunately I had to transfer my care when I moved to Dunstable. Since attending the outpatients at Luton and Dunstable I have found the service to be quite disappointing. The appointments always seem to run over, last time it was an hour and a half over. So we aren’t talking 20 minutes or so. The appointment booking service isn’t great. I am hoping the change it to run how other areas of L&D work, whereby you go online and book an appropriate slot for you. I work shifts, so when they send a random date in the post I often can’t attend and when they send a replacement I am finding I have the same issue time and time again. Therefore months are passing where I receive no further care from my consultant. I try to call and the phone seems to just ring and ring. I leave messages with the consultants secretary’s explaining my predicament. Yet I am still left in the same position. I really hope this service is going through some changes because it is a very much needed one that is sadly not performing well. The staff have always been very friendly, I appreciate that they must find it challenging themselves. Changes need to made.

Broke my leg a year ago last January and have been visiting the team here since then. Staff are friendly and jokey plus they actually remember you. The only criticism is that the cost of parking isn't cheap and sometimes you won't be seen on time by consultants therefore you need to make certain that you have access to enough money to cover your stay. You can pay by cash, card or phone though.

Seen on time. Set out of waiting area appropriate to minimize Covid spread. Staff were lovely and didn't seem to be rushing patients. My consultant was excellent. Took the time to explainy condition in clear understandable way and was realistic but reassuring.

The nurse criticised me for not informing them that my family member is Covid-19 positive, which I should have told them. But the staff need to check the patient's record before we arrive. There need to be communication between L&D hospital and L&D Orthopaedic hospital.

Why change my appointment if I just going to wait for ages, in the end I needed to go because I couldn't wait anymore. I rather move my appointment to a day and time I'm going to be seen Plus the parking there is horrible Worse experience of my life The worse thing I've been waiting for appointment for nearly a year and probably will be waiting for that again

"Sir I will schedule you for treatment in the next two weeks and I will see you for the check-up in two months". 6 months later, countless number of calls, emails etc I finally get the appointment. "Sir the treatment is not good no more, your issue is too severe now. You need surgery". Wonder what happens when they fail this time
