Lovelywash Launderette bath

The lady who would seem to own the laundrette arrived at the laundrette to service it. On arrival she began to approach me and my partner very rudely. You wouldn't believe she could speak to a 30 year old man the way she spoke to me. She then aggressively placed her hand in my dryer to then tell me I've overfilled it and it'll cost me money. I'm prepared to sit there for as long as necessary until its dry, they don't have enough dryers for everyone, so I'm surprised to say the least - that she acted that way towards me. The lack of respect was unreal, and the way she spoke to my partner boiled my blood. If you're dressed in your casual sports kit - don't come here. I'll have to pop in, in my legal attire and perhaps then I'll be approached respectively.

Go early if using at weekend or rainy day . Clean and tidy.everyone ive met there is friendly. Have enough change on you!

Great launderette

Went tonight and put in load of washing to dry. Came out as wet as it went in after 20 mins on high. Machine obviously broken but no contact number or email anywhere to contact owner. Waste of time and money. Very frustrating. Thanks for your response today (3 July 2019) - yes it has been a while and the service has certainly improved so we continue to use you on a regular basis. Your response and continued efforts much appreciated.

Great service! called Mark with a problem and he was there in 10 mins, really nice chap and knows how to run a business. He puts us customers first!

Here, there is a different meaning to self-service. The machines are so easy to use and cheap, cheaper than anywhere else I know, at £4.50 for big wash (£8 in nearby Bristol). A misnomer I dare say, in a place where everything else is expensive. Please owner, this is not an invitation to hike the price!

Lovely wash is a marvellous place. Ten years ago it was soooo shamefully bad but new ownership (yes I've been using the launderette for 20 yrs!) Has raised it up to its current glory. The machines are well maintained, theres a bit of nearby parking if you need it but I go on a bike, if anything goes wrong, they'll come in a jiffy. The weakest link is the general public of course who can misuse things sometimes but that happens everywhere. Without covid, this is an enjoyable social hub for a marvellous diversity of service users, including me :-)

Clean, reasonably priced. Only 3 washing machines but I’ve always been lucky to get in while it’s quiet. The only problem is.. this is the one time in my fortnightly schedule where I need physical cash. Period. McColl’s around the corner have grown weary of people asking for change and rarely give any out now. I’m not with a high street bank, and the post office does not change money either. More a suggestion than a criticism - PLEASE consider installing a change machine or token system as some other places have. We are moving closer to a cashless society and launderettes are unfortunately a little behind. Mob bosses will have to find a new way to cleanse their cash flow.
