Mercs are the best cars anyway but the customer service overall is just ok, nothing overwhelming.

Worst dealership and service I have experienced in 20 years. Chavy, deceitful, rude, rip off. Avoid. Go to Rivervale instead.

We live in France and visited Lancing Marine, a marine specialist opposite Lookers to organize a boat gearbox repair. I can't recommend them, I needed a new gearbox which I accept, but was sold incorrect and unecessary engine mountings, oil pipes the wrong size, and a very expensive bell housing weld repair. They failed to supply requested UNF bolts, unable to be sourced in Europe, these had to be specially air freighted in to complete the repair.. To add insult to injury I was made to pay VAT (in folding paper) as exports they should have been VAT free even though the parts were being transported directly from their premises to the ferry. I was badly caught financially. I had a very expensive unsatisfactory experience and will go elsewhere in future. Your money, you make your own mind up.
