We had a lovely stay at the London Marriott Twickenham hotel. The staff are very friendly and supportive, the service is very nice, the location is great. I would have liked to see more activities for kids.. Also, I would have liked to see signs for the stairs. The room was clean and calm and the view was great. The area is very beautiful and easy to go to central London.

Decent fairly modern hotel with friendly staff. Numerous rooms with broken air con, including ours, so we had to change rooms but didn't cause much inconvenience really. Breakfast was very good.

Check in staff were friendly and deserve 5-stars. We stayed in room 544 during a weekend break. On arrival the hallway from the lift to the room was littered with left over food from breakfast at 4pm in the afternoon. A warm welcome for all guests arriving. On entry to our room the area was freshly prepared but the bedding on both beds was ripped and torn. There’s also no complimentary bottled water provided in the room or any WiFi access. You should note that it’s a long walk from the room to the complimentary car park, which isn’t very secure. It’s best to drop off luggage and children first in the temporary loading area. The adjacent Virgin Active gym provides the hotel leisure facilities and staff are courteous and welcoming. You’ll find complimentary towels for the spa in the male and female changing rooms on the 2nd floor.

Wow, a great find at a great price. Clean, comfortable, modern with additional parking a few minutes walk away. Friendly, helpful staff & a top breakfast. Our room faced the road but we couldn't hear any traffic noise so a great nights sleep too.

Absolutely immaculate hotel. Good size rooms, leisure center next door, and a very considerate staff. Big thank you to receptionist Lana, professional and polite young lady who noticed that my father was tired after a long journey, and offered him water and helped him with bags. Impressed!

We are big Marriott investors and customers; having stayed here a couple of years ago we were impressed by the location (very convenient for access to London and many other sights and places of interest. Our visit this time was wholly disappointing. The place was shabby and unloved. We had a junior suite that simply had not been prepared to an acceptable standard. The bathroom was unclean and the drains emptied very, very slowly. The safe did not work because the lock battery needed replaced. The whole place reeked of apathy and weak/poor management. We advised the front desk of the drain and safe issues on checking out who apologised. Other issues were not addressed until now because we were on a schedule and, frankly, the management should be addressing them without loyal Marriott customers having to do their job for them. We won’t be returning.

Staff were excellent, very accommodating. Room was great. Parking is a bit annoying as its a ten minute walk but you get used to it. Breakfast was as expected. Overall I would recommend it. Only advice is to get a padlock in order to use the gym and swimming pool advertised but is actually the virgin active gym next door.

We planned a weekend stay as a family. Location is great, the staff were friendly. The Managers were very helpful in any situation, they even helped us plan artinery and ensured places were open etc before we planned. The gym/spa are is good and spacious. I will definately book again.

I had booked the room so my daughter and I could stay over the night before her masters graduation, so we were fresh for the day ahead on the 3rd December. We went fir dinner and when we came back to our room and went into the bathroom the floor was covered in water and there was a very strong smell of urine!! We went to reception to report a nd was told they could not move us and just gave us towels to cover the floor!! To me this was not acceptable as the smell was horrendous, to give the night clerk his due he did refund me the amount I paid for breakfast and gave us this for free and told me to speak with the manager in the morning. The nights sleep was unpleasant as the strong smell got worst as the night went on and we ended up with sore eyes!! The manager fave me an email address which I have contacted and am now awaiting their reply.
