Lloyds Pharmacy edinburgh

If this chemist spent less time prioritizing sorting out methadone for the herds of junkies and wasters in the area and concentrated more on the people and children who need there medicine for genuine things, this chemist might be worth custom but the system and the people have there priorities so wrong it's unreal, 90 minutes you have to wait a good 90% of the time to pick up your medicine, unless your in for your methadone then you'll get sorted straight away as if it was a McDonald's drive through. There's a chemist not too far away from Lloyds that has your prescription made in 5 minutes after walking in the door. Stay away from this place unless like I've said, Ur needing your meth fix then this is the place to go.

A total disaster. The worst pharmacy I have ever used! They have never had my prescription ready on time. Last time I made them aware of the fact that my current stock is about to run out soon and only if they are 100% sure the prescription will be ready to be collected on the date they claim it will, I will leave it with them. I was promised it will. I came on the day it was supposed to be there and they said - it hasn't been ordered yet, and - it will at least 5 days to arrive at the pharmacy. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE THAT NEGLECTFUL, CARELESS AND DISRESPECTFUL OF PEOPLE'S TIME AND NEEDS?! These are medicines we are talking about. Why didn't they tell me to go elsewhere to start with?! This was the last time I used this pharmacy. Please avoid if you don't want stress, trouble or health issues. Add endless queues just to be left out with nothing

Can I just please stress don't use this pharmacy. I handed in my prescription at 3:30pm for a very important steroid cream and was told to come back in at 5:30. When I arrived 2 hours later I was told they need to order it in. What a waste of time

Long time of service

The guy asked if he shall check if my medicine is in stock, he went to the shelf, took it out. And put it back right away, came back to me and told me that I have to wait an hour before I can collect it. I asked why he did not bring it right here and I was gone by now and everyone behind me was served faster. He said thats the system. So, he goes in one hour again to the same place, same stuff (if it was not gone till then), and picks it AGAIN and comes back AGAIN, more people queuing... No wonder that they need waiting times, doing all simple tasks two and three times. This is not efficient, contra productive and costs the NHS contribution payer a lot. Plus the frustration they produce. In fact, they send ill people of all age away for one hour, although the stuff is right there, they had it in the hand! This people should be ashamed to call that a system (meaning thats something good). It's rubbish, not a system, its arrogance and bad behavior towards customers and patients, especially older ones and worst in bad weather. This medicine is the customers in the moment the doctor writes that down. I do not see that any ridiculous system or arrogant person in a pharmacy has any right to let ill people wait or come twice for their medicine.

Great service and lovely staff. My prescription was made quickly. Lovely shop and lots of over the counter medication.

Very helpful staff and professional stuff. I had been looking for my medication for a week in other pharmacies but Noone had it in stocks. At lloyds I got it in 10 minutes. Can't recommend them enough

This must be the worst most unprofessional chemist in Edinburgh. I went yesterday 15/10/21 And handed in a prescription. I was informed it would take one hour to be ready which is fair enough. I went back after the hour to find them closed for lunch from 1 until 240 after waiting in a large que for 1hr I was served with someone who seems like they didn’t want to be there do yourself a favour and go to another chemist.

Worst chemist I have ever used! Shop is dirty and always late opening. Whether it's in the morning or at lunch. There is always huge waiting times, prescriptions getting lost. This is not new for this shop. They have one lady working at reception and she needs help!! There is too much work for her to cope with. I have now been standing in the cue for 20 minutes and only one person been seen.update I waited for one hour and my prescription was not there oh what a surprise!! This is terrible service one lady running the whole shop. Oh great stand in the cue for one hour to be told they don't have it but doctors say it is there. This is another thing that happens a lot hear!. It is absolutely terrible service..this just gets worse today. My partner has went to collect her prescription and the lady behind the desk has lost it with another customer and thrown everyone out the shop!! So now you have people who need there meds not getting them. This is absolutely outrageous!! My partner is now going to have to go to hospital as her pain has got so bad!! I am so shock regarding this place!

Been going here for all my life and it has got worse in the last few years. Staff slow to stop even when a massive queue, they look miserable too, no customer service. Shelves are empty and filthy. Today, the security guard was talking in the queue with his face mask only covering his mouth and side by side the customer, not distanced. No time to explain to customers something they do not understand or have never done. Such a shame, used to be a great pharmacy.
