I attempted to get a form of indemnity for lost share certificates signed by the bank. This form is an industry standard form, demanded by the Financial Conduct Authority. It can only be signed by your bank. The bank refused point blank on two occasions to sign it - and suggested I try another bank. "The computer said no" I've used this bank since 1971 it used to be a friendly and very helpful bank, now it is just run by automatons, I suppose all banks are like this these days, customer loyalty counts for nothing. My old friend Pam who worked at the bank in the good old days would have been very saddened by the way they mistreat their customers.

The staff in this branch are always happy and friendly, They will help you to use the self service machines to save you waiting, using them has been a godsend during the Pandemic, as it’s much quicker than waiting in the queue.
