The place for you – if you want an absolutely awful experience

1.0/ 5

This pharmacy is very conveniently located for me but each time I have attempted to have prescriptions dispensed they are either unable to supply common items or have to order them in via an incompetent and flawed system which frequently fails to deliver what I need. Nearby chemists in Llandaff North and Fairwater have no such problems in supplying my medicines. I keep thinking that Llandaff Pharmacy cannot continuously be this bad but I have yet again been left without medication that I rely on as a result of their incompetence . I won’t be using them again.

This pharmacy has great working relationship with the Llandaff Surgery, making it so much easier and convenient to get my regular prescriptions. Not even mentioning how very lovely the staff is, and will remember you if you're a little more regular customer.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great place to go for minor problems or if you don't want to visit the doctor. They sell a good range of products and, if you need advice, staff are on hand to provide it. You can have a private interview with the pharmacist to discuss your medication and/or health and they will advise you if you need to see a doctor. Great place!

Got my prescription wrong. When it clearly states on the pharmacies computer system that I do not get on with the certain brand of Mirtazapine. Yet the pharmacist still sent the very brand of tablets that I don’t get on with, what makes it worse the pharmacy then attached a note to my prescription delivery stating and I quote “Dear Mr Hancock we could Not get the brand of mirtazapine tablets you preferred. I have given you the other brand, I hope this is okay ! Many thanks the pharmacist. I then give the pharmacy a call to question why they have given me those tablets when I clearly stated on their computer system that I did not get on with them. The pharmacist reply was what that was all they could get hold of. But What the pharmacist should have done, is telephone call me and let me know they did not have the particular brand I require, they then could’ve ordered that Particular brand and delivered it to me the next day I then said to the pharmacist that I would be returning the tablets So I could go and get the particular brand from another pharmacy, The pharmacist then said to me that they were closing in 10 minutes and I would have to come back tomorrow, when I only live 2 minutes away, So I would’ve got there in time before they close, no I have to go back to my doctor to get another prescription And cash that prescription For that particular brand elsewhere. Never use this pharmacy ever again, very rude staff !

The pharmacy itself operates fine but I am a wheelchair user and it is completely inaccessible to me. There is a sharp ledge at the door that prevents me from coming inside. I had to wait outside and hope that one of the pharmacists would notice me sitting there. When I asked about potential installation of a ramp, I was told that it was a "safety hazard". This needs to be investigated. Disabled people such as myself need access to pharmacies.
