Called up to enquire about membership for gym and pool and was invited to trial the facilities. I called back to reschedule and was told that I would need a day pass at £10 - I questioned this as was not made aware of any charges previously and was told the manager would need to sign off a free pass and someone would contact me - I did not hear from anyone so I called on the day of my rescheduled trial and was again told that they would be charging me £10 to trial the facilities. I think it’s poor customer service to invite people in for a trial without mentioning any charges only for them to be charged when they arrive at the facilities so personally decided to take my business to somewhere more upfront, where I know what I’m signing up for.
