The friendy staff here are what make this place a pleasure to come to. There are bigger gyms & lower prices around, i've been to a few, but there's enough equipment here to have a great workout and nothing better than belonging to a club full of nice, decent people that you enjoy visiting. Encouraging and helpful environment important to those with specific training goals and highly knowledgeable staff.

Lovely small gym where there are no posers and idiots throwing weights around. The pool is quiet unless it is lesson time or people are on spa days. Staff are brilliant, really friendly and helpful. I would give a 5 but the changing rooms and showers are tired and massively overdue an upgrade, think rusty showers of which there are only three!! , flaky metal and painted over rust on fittings, lack of towel hooks, dated and grubby appearance could do with a deep clean. Entrance needs a revamp too. Poor hair drying area with extra hot and cheap hair driers. Signposting in the changing rooms is needed too. Keep the amazing staff and upgrade the changing facilities and decor please 😊

Good. Nice pool. Nice staff. Nice gym. Bad. Changing rooms a state Mould all around the showers Hotel guests treat the pool like its leisure centres. If the hot tub is working (frequently isnt) its either full with a hen party or a family with 15 kids all crammed in. Both groups will sit there for an hr half with no regard to others users. The latter leaving those kids who dont fit to run riot. Swimming lessons add to the carnage daily. Expect better from Hilton and it could be such a lovely gym.
