5/ 5

I’ve a bit of a phobia of dentists, and have postponed and stalled a trip to the dentist for over 20 years. It sounds ridiculous, and I’ll be the first to admit it. All I’ve really done is stored up problems for myself – and my teeth, by delaying a visit for so long. My Partner is already a patient at Lime Tree and she’s spent several years trying to convince and assure me they were a good practice and they look after all their patients. I called the practice – having explained I was nervous, they spent time convincing me I would be looked after and get the right treatment. I was introduced to Alison who couldn’t have been more helpful. She asked about the history of my fear of dentists and after the initial examination explained the issues with my teeth and the treatment required going into as much or as little detail as I wanted. I’ve finished my third session with Alison, and I’m kicking myself for not getting in touch much, much sooner. She’s very good at explaining the problems and the procedures required to fix them. Alison is very careful during the procedures and takes time to ensure I’m not feeling stressed or uncomfortable. Although my fear’s haven’t suddenly vanished, they don’t feel as bad as I once thought. All of the Staff at Lime tree are friendly, helpful, kind and considerate, from the office and reception to the dental nurses and dentist. If anyone has any fears, phobia’s or concerns about visiting a dentists, I couldn’t recommend Lime tree enough.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the ppe that's in place at the practice, during the pandemic. I felt very reassured and confident that I and the staff were safe. A lot of thought has obviously gone into this, such as ppe, locked door system of appointments, new windows etc. Excellent treatment. Excellent dental practice.
