The studio has a welcoming vibe & presence about it. It’s great being able to share the space with like minded people, yoga teachers & students who hold an interest with their own mental & physical health & wellness. I always feel great after leaving a session 😊.

Ive been a member and regular participant of the Flinders Street lighten up yoga since 2015 and Ive loved every minute. From the classes to the workshops to the yoga teacher training I couldn't recommend a better experience for your mind body and soul it is a fundamental life changing event. The thing that makes lighten up are the dedicated teachers offering tailored yoga practice with a great mix of strength, flow, deep breathing, and relaxation. And Im sure there is a lot of work done in the background to make this all happen. The biggest surprise for me has been the doorway that opened in my heart for eastern philosophy and spirituality - you cant make this sort of stuff up. lovin life baz The journey begins....'Begin!'

I thoroughly enjoy going to Lighten Up for their classes. I love how the teachers outline progressions and regressions of each exercise - especially because I'm a beginner and still learning about the practice. Each teacher I've had has been wonderful and sets the space with amazing energy before each class and makes me feel so relaxed by the time I leave.
