Visited recently to test drive a used RC300 that I was considering buying. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and professional and quickly spoke to me and had the relevant salesman come and speak to me. Unfortunately the salesman was incredibly obnoxious, dismissive and rude. I appreciate that car salesmen rarely have the best reputation, however when you visit a brand famed for service rather than the well known car supermarket type dealers you expect a certain level of service, particularly when you’re considering buying something in this price range. The salesman would not offer a test drive because I said I would not be looking to pay a deposit/commit to a purchase on the same day. He ignored my questions about some cosmetic damage on the car and whether it would be repaired prior to a sale and he was incredibly rude and dismissive to small comments I made,e.g. I said I was also considering a Mercedes model and one factor was the poor infotainment system Lexus uses (fiddly control, no Apple CarPlay which is common on competitors). I repeatedly said I did not want a trade-in valuation of my current car as I already had a buyer lined up but he wasted time inspecting it to do a valuation. I wonder whether garages receive some sort of incentive for this as I’ve noticed all dealers are more interested in providing valuations than a year or two ago. The salesman said he would call me in the following few days with his finalised valuation of my car (the same one I repeatedly asked him not to do) and to let me know of any other models on their database. I never received a call but frankly I was relieved. It may be worth Lexus teaching their salesmen some manners and the meaning of the word consent.

Went to look at a car on the 26th as I was in glasgow.I was looking at the car i was thinking of having and was asked to leave the car lot as they were closed and you are not allowed to look when closed. Walked all the way from ibrox to see this car and to say i wasn't happy is a understatement .

My Wife has always wanted a Lexus and we looked at a range of models. We turned to the main dealer in Glasgow for more information. The help and advice we received from Campbell has been second to none. We bought a very smart CT from them and the service, warrantees and attention to detail is really impressive. Furthermore the car is comfortable and beautiful to drive. We definitely recommend Lexus.

I couldn’t have asked for a more straightforward and easy purchase of my first car. I received excellent service from Campbell who made my experience simple and exciting. Lexus Glasgow was extremely accommodating to my needs, going out of the way to ensure my car was ready on very short notice. My first viewing being on the Wednesday, to the purchase on Thursday and the pick up on Sunday. Incredible service!

My experience in the last 24hrs was to ask this ex-Saab garage, which still has 4 Saab proficient mechanics working there, to quote for a sensor replacement. Quote was £138 & vat for the part plus 90 mins at whatever/hr for labour. Surprised, I checked the part's price with Dingbro and prefer their two for £20 & vat price. I also know it will not take 90 mins to do two, never mind one sensor. Draw your own conclusion, I have. I'll never darken their marble and stainless steel showroom again and intend to buy all my Lexus's elsewhere.
