The staff are always very helpful and friendly to me. I'm surprised by some of the reviews on here so I felt compelled to share that I've always had a very good experience here and will happily come back again and again :)

Went in to collect a parcel after Royal Mail website said it was available for colection there, and was told categorically that the website was wrong and I would have to wait another 24 hours. Spent an hour on the phone to Royal Mail who eventually confirmed it had indeed been delivered and that the post office must have misplaced it. Went back in and queued again, was served by another member of staff who found the parcel right away. Wasted half my morning because the original staff member hadn't bothered to look properly and then gave me a load of bull about the website being incorrect. It also smells of mould in there and the queues are often horrific, whilst the staff seem to casually take as much time as possible over the simplest of tasks.

Worst post office I ever used! They shouldn’t be allowed to represent the brand. I used them couple of time because it’s close to the house. The staff is rude, once i asked about a parcel that i just received there, they only told me they don’t know (or they don’t care) but when you show them the confirmation email, they only start to search for it. I prefer now to make few more step and go somewhere else. If you don’t believe me, just go for a little taste of it, you will regret it ;)

Really friendly staff. This place is often busy but I choose it over other local post offices because the service is so lovely. I'm a small business owner and the owner of this Post Office has been kind and supportive, and always helpful when I turn up with lots of packages! He talked me through the drop and go service and always asks me how I am.

Can I just say, after reading some reviews, that the staff are not really responsible for providing sellotape etc. I know that each individual thinks oh surely you can just do this for me and I have thought the same thing but it is not really fair to them. I suppose they could do it to be really nice but they are probably constantly being asked the same thing. Surely we can take our own or buy it. Also they are not responsible for the time it takes for a package to arrive at its destination.

I gave necessary ID/proof of purchase to collect a parcel (it stated on the website I bought from what proof was needed in order to collect my parcel) but I was refused service until I walked all the way home in the rain to get my drivers licence. Only when I came back with this was I allowed to pick up my parcel. I have never had this issue at other post offices and the man who served me was rude and muttering words under his breath. Just poor service overall. I much preferred the previous owners of this business at least you could chat with them and have a good service with smiles.

Contrary to what their non-sensical reply attempted to say on my first review, the only people being rude in that shop is them. You only have to look at the sheer volume of one star reviews to realise how awful they are. I’ve asked the post office to launch an investigation into this shop, which should hopefully commence soon. My hope is that this terrible business gets shut down. Good riddance. You don’t deserve to rob and steal from the people of Brighton. Shame on you

THE WORST SHOP IN BRIGHTON. Horrendous staff who’re outright rude and entirely unhelpful. I ordered something from Amazon that dpd tried to deliver. Seeing as they couldn’t they took it here but despite taking my ID, the slip and having the dpd email confirming it was there they still didn’t give me my parcel that was sitting right in front of me!! Picture is of it in their shop!!! They clearly have made an error but are now holding my parcel ransom. Never known anything like it. I hope they get shut down. Trading standards, BHCC, the post office and dpd will all be hearing about this.
